How much does a panel UPGRADE cost?

The cost of a panel upgrade from 100amps to 200amps panel typically cost between $2000 and $5000 with the average landing right around $3000 for a panel replacement. In our service price all permits, inspections and certifications are included.

How much does a penel REPLACEMENT cost?

The average cost to replace a fuse box with a circuit breaker panel is between $1400 and $2000.

It depends how complicated is your service and  size of  your old panel.

Labeling Existing Panels

Many times panels can be a mess because of multiple owners, handymen, projects etc.  You won’t know which breaker to turn off when you’re trying to replace an outlet or do any work. We have the tools and experience to make this right and give you advice along the way.

Old Breaker to New Breaker Upgrade

It’s important that you upgrade old breaker panel to give you more flexibility to increase safety. Your current panel might not be able to handle what you want to do in your home. While you can replace individual circuits it might not be enough or they may continue to fail. 

What's Involved in a Panel Upgrade

We will file all the appropriate paperwork, admin, and scheduling with the local city safety authority. Power will be disconnected while we conduct the work and will be turned back on as soon as we are done. In most cases, we’re able to complete the work with minimal disruption. 

Unsafe Setup or Old Fuse Box in Your Home?

Fuse boxes found in homes built in the 1960s should be replaced. Using metal objects to maintain them can be hazardous. If your box is warm, crackling, or smoking, it should be replaced immediately.
